Supported Employment Specialists, Inc. was established in 2001 by two compassionate and skilled teachers, whose unique coaching process mirrors a comprehensive educational approach. Drawing from our extensive training and expertise, we carefully develop a personalized plan that centers around the needs and goals of the individual. Our innovative plan maximizes the strengths of the community resources available to each person, ensuring their success. At SES, our Coaching Specialists are highly-experienced professionals, deeply familiar with the needs of individuals with IDD/Autism and other areas requiring support. We pride ourselves in our ability to not only teach but also design accommodations that maximize potential, enabling individuals to achieve their desired outcomes in the workplace and foster independence in daily living.

COMMUNITY ACCESS
For Community Access programs, our Coaches work with each client to design a program to help attain skills and learning activities that enhance the person's life in his or her own community.
The activities are inspired by the interests of the individual seeking services and customized by the Coach to achieve the highest level of independence possible.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT
When employment is the goal, an extensive job search is conducted during which our Employment Specialist assists with the application and interview process.
Once a position is secured, our coaches serve as liaisons between the client and the
business. We work to adapt and teach the necessary skill required for the job.
One of our most important
responsibilities is to ensure that a system of natural supports is built with
co-workers.
We believe the key to long term success is regular follow-up visits and extended support, so that we can provide those interventions and extra
training that may be needed to continue working toward the individual's career goals.
